This month your editor admits to feeling overwhelmed by the state of the world and the requirement for an opinion on it. He questions: What is the value of free speech when no-one is listening? And struggles with the unpalatable possibility that The price of free speech IS that no one is listening. What then can we do? Reading around this month's Gateway is the only thing I can suggest. It's time to make up your own mind and form your own opinions. Even if they are all futile in this 'post truth' world.
