Autumn comes. No one is any closer to know what Brexit will be but it looks like we may be in for a 'hard' winter of discontent. Long after Orwell's Homage to Catalonia, the machinations of a government refusing to allow self-determination is seen both home and away. We have some reflective pieces (with bite) this month from J.M.Barrie and James Leatham, as well as the Orraman and a look into public domain works delving back into history and politics locally, nationally and internationally. So put down your adult colouring book and start using your brain the way it was intended to be used. Read. Think. Repeat.
